Next week’s Carabao Cup fixtures at Newcastle and Southampton will be played a day earlier due to a planned medical strike.
Newcastle’s fourth-round draw with Bournemouth has therefore been brought forward to December 21-20.
Southampton will also play on December 20, at home to League One Lincoln City.
Both matches kick off at 19:45 GMT, and while tickets already purchased remain valid, refunds will be available for both matches.
Newcastle United said: “The planned strike has significant security implications for the club’s matchday medical arrangements.”
Southampton said: “A number of alternatives were carefully considered but it was decided that this was the only appropriate outcome to maintain the level of security required for the match to take place.”
Manchester United are in talks with authorities over their home game with Burnley on December 21, while Blackburn Rovers had already made contingency plans to host Nottingham Forest on the same day.
