The good news for players considering the new cards in pools 4 and 5 is that they won’t have to complete their collection of pool 3 – the biggest pool of cards in the game – to start getting new ones. And while Pool 4 cards are “super rare,” they can also be purchased directly from the Token Shop using Collector Tokens. These Tokens can be earned from Collector Caches as players upgrade their cards, and the Token Shop will update every eight hours with a new card that players do not currently own.
Second Dinner Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer Ben Brode explains more about the Token Shop and how players can earn Tokens in the video above, but like most things marvel snap-related, the new system seems atypically generous for a free game.
The devs also offer a quick preview of new maps coming soon marvel snap in December, starting with Silver Surfer, a 3 cost/0 power card that, when revealed, gives your other 3 cost cards +3 power. Surfer will pair well with cards like Wong and Odin, as well as a full deck of 3-cost cards.

- Orka (6/9) – Ongoing: +5 power if this is your only card here.

- Bast (1/1) – At the Reveal: Set the power of all cards in your hand to 3.
- Shuri (4/2) — On reveal: Double the power of the next card you play.
- Thanos (6/8) – At the start of the game, shuffle all six Infinity Stones into your deck.
- Galactus (6/3) — On reveal: If this is your only card here, destroy all other locations
- Valkyrie (5/3) – On Reveal: Set all cards in this slot to 3 power.
- Super Skrull (4/2) — Ongoing: Has the ongoing effects of all enemy cards.
