World of Warcraft: Dragonflight just introduced players to the cavern of Zaralek and Aberrus, Deathwing’s abandoned laboratory. But there are already more adventures on the horizon, and Blizzard has announced the next patch. Fractures in Time, which is the title of patch 10.1.5, includes a third specialization for our new friends Dracthyr Evoker, as well as a megadungeon, more wizards, and tons of little changes.
The evoker of Dracthyr is Dragonflightnew race/class combination. The Drachthyr are bipedal dragons, and they currently specialize in either preservation to heal their allies or devastation to destroy their enemies. The third specialization coming to Fractures in Time is the first “support” specialization in the game: Augment. Augment evokers use the powers of the time-traveling bronze dragonflight to enhance their allies.
Speaking of the Bronze Dragonflight, players will face their corrupted foe once again. The Infinite Dragonflight has played five-dimensional chess throughout time, and players must often jump into dungeons and preserve past timelines to prevent their plans. Dawn of the Infinite is a new eight-boss Mythic dungeon that shows multiple timelines, all of which are at risk of being ingested by Infinite.
Wizards are about to become more popular. The fel caster class will be available to all remaining races (except the Dracthyr), meaning we’ll see Night Elf, Draenei, Pandarian, Zandalari, and Tauren warlocks running around. Wizards also get new pet customization options, allowing them to perfect their personal stable of demons.
Fractures in Time also includes balance changes, a whelp daycare, and Time Rift public events. There is currently no release date for this next patch, but players still have plenty to explore in the Cavern of Zaralek and Aberrus.
