
Sophia Dunkley scored an unbeaten 101 in a losing cause as the South East Stars were beaten by Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy holders Northern Diamonds.
Dunkley hit a six and seven four as the Stars rallied from 55-5 at Scarborough to reach 223 all.
But Diamonds hit a revised target of 173-7 to win by three wickets.
Eve Jones made it 73 as Central Sparks beat 2020-21 winners Southern Vipers by six wickets, but the other two games went scoreless.

However, England slugger Dunkley took advantage of being dropped by Lizzie Scott, reaching his century from 100 balls with a single from Abi Glen before running out of partners in the 45th.
Lauren Winfield-Hill and Sterre Kalis kicked off the Diamonds’ cue with an 85 position before the former played against Ryana MacDonald-Gay at 45.
Bess Heath hit 33 of 22 and Kalis stayed until the end after a rain break, making 66 unstretched as they hit their DLS target to move up to third place, with three wins from five games .
