First spotted by Eurogamer folks, YouTuber Cara Aleatorio completely redone the first moments of Resident Evil 4 with Lego. This doesn’t just include the cinematic arrival of Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy in a remote and ominous Spanish village; The recreation of Aleatorio also includes flawless gameplay. There’s the over-the-shoulder camera, the minimal UI (sadly not made out of Lego), and even the animations for shooting, stabbing, and kicking murderous villagers infected with parasites known as Ganados. .
It’s not like there’s a shortage of Lego games based on an established IP address, but if this video is any indication, one more wouldn’t hurt.
