Liverpool have signed Danish youth international Sofie Lundgaard from Fortuna Hjorring.
The 20-year-old midfielder made his Premier League debut aged 17 and has played more than 100 senior games.
Lundgaard, who has represented his country at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 levels, will wear number 15 for the Reds.
“I can’t wait to meet all the girls, to start and to win football matches,” she said.
“I have often heard that this group is a good group and that it is a club with ambitions and I can’t wait to be part of it.
“I am a powerful player, I like to play football, I can also defend, take good possession and score a lot of goals.”
Lundgaard becomes Liverpool’s second signing window in January, following the return of former captain Gemma Bonner.
Manager Matt Beard said: “Sofie is an exciting young talent who we have been watching for about six months.
“We’ve been really impressed with his progress so far and can’t wait to see how it continues in the future.”
