For Purah, age is just a number. Researcher Sheikah is technically well over 100 years old, but she looked like a child when she first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Now she’s back tears of the kingdom and grew a little. Her makeover is amazing and fans across all social media platforms like TikTok are singing her praises and craving for the research mom.
In breath of the wild, Purah looks like a literal child, despite being over 100 years old. According to her character profile in Tears of the Kingdom, she looks younger due to the experiments she performed on herself to reverse aging. For context, she’s probably close in age to Robbie who looks like an old mist.
However, in the time between tears of the kingdom And breath of the wild, she let herself age for a few years. I think the answers to the revamp are best presented by super Purah fans. A person posted an excerpt from the video when we see Purah’s new design for the first time. The person captioned the clip and said, “THEY DON’T NEED TO MAKE MOM PURAH SUCH A BAD,” then said they wanted Purah to do “unspeakable things” to them. In this cutscene, Purah isn’t doing anything particularly sexy — she’s just talking to Link. But it was enough to inspire several viral videos.
