Keighley, game developers and publishers have started teasing what viewers can expect from The Game Awards 2022, including new looks at tekken 8, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Destiny 2: Lightfall, and something new from old Crash Bandicoot itself. also appear Glass Onionby Daniel Craig, Jessica Henwick and Rian Johnson, and The last of us stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson. Exactly what all that Hollywood talent will bring with them is still a mystery.
Other likely candidates include a new look at Final Fantasy 16 from Square Enix, Street Fighter 6 from Capcom, and Diablo 4 from Blizzard Entertainment. Considering the amount of teasing that longtime Geoff Keighley collaborator Hideo Kojima has made about Kojima Productions’ next game, that could show up here as well.
A title that is not should appear is the next game from NetherRealm Studios, the folks behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice. Ed Boon, Creative Director of NetherRealm said before the show that his studio is not yet ready to announce its next game.
