Samsung has released a South Korea launch schedule for its One UI 5 update which gives us an idea of when we’ll see it in the rest of the world.
Now that Samsung’s One UI 5 and Android 13 update is rolling out to Galaxy S22 devices, you might be wondering when your Galaxy phone will receive it.
Fortunately, we now have a good idea as Samsung has posted a timeline on its community forums for users in South Korea. It runs to February 2023 and shows that a large number of phones are being updated this year.
While it focuses on the Korean rollout, we’d say it’s safe to assume that other regions will see updates released around the same time. So let’s take a closer look.
UI 5 Release Schedule
The launch schedule as published on the Samsung Community Forum shows that nearly 40 devices will receive Android 13 and One UI 5 before the end of 2022. This is in addition to S22 devices, for which the update is already available. Here is the full list.

These are all primed for several years of updates and look likely to receive the next one on the same schedule as the other S and A series devices.
Prepare for Android 13
Samsung has arguably the best update policy for its devices. It delivers them quickly and for many of its phones – there are 50 phones on this list, and that’s not including the missing models.
Interestingly, Vivo is also among the first to update, having recently pushed Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 to its flagship X80 Pro device. Still, Pixel phones remain the gold standard if getting updates is a priority for you.
