PowerWash Simulator mainly consists of having a relaxing time while you hose down dirty hangars, vehicles and houses. Once in a while, developer FuturLab likes to shake things up. For example, players have been tasked with pulverizing Bikini Bottom, Lara Croft’s mansion, and even the world of Final Fantasy 7. This next collaboration is perhaps the most unexpected yet, as the player and his trusty powerwasher head into the sinister world of war hammer 40,000.
If you’re unfamiliar with the expansive setting of Warhammer 40K, it’s set in a “war only” future, where humanity now survives under the “cruelest and bloodiest regime imaginable”. While the player is warned to forget about the power of technology and science, that apparently doesn’t cover the humble powerwasher. The world of Warhammer is absolutely filthy, and it’s up to you to come and spray all that filth to reveal the shiny plasteel and chrome underneath. The God-Emperor of Mankind would be proud!
There are many games that dive into hive cities and hab blocks of Warhammer 40Kincluding cooperative shooter The oil spill and the next Space Marine 2. But it is rare that the player is ever sent to this world to relax. thank god for PowerWash Simulator; the game requires no twitch reflexes or survival instincts.
