England players Nat and Katherine Sciver-Brunt, Sophie Ecclestone and Danni Wyatt took part in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction at the highest reserve price.
The quartet are among 24 players listed in the upper £50,000 bracket.
The auction, where five franchises will choose their teams from 409 listed cricketers, takes place on Monday.
The T20 competition, which is a women’s version of the Indian Premier League (IPL), is set to start in March.
The Board of Cricket of India (BCCI) said it received 1,525 applications for the tournament out of which 246 Indians and 163 foreign players were selected.
There are a maximum of 90 places available across the five teams, with 30 places reserved for overseas players – six per franchise.
Australian greats Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur and former West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin are also in the top bracket.
Each team will have around £1.2million to spend on between 15 and 18 players, meaning the top stars could earn six-figure contracts.
The highest salary for the female Hundred is £31,250.
England captain Heather Knight has a base price of £40,000, as do wicketkeeper Amy Jones and the all-rounder Charlie Dean.
Under-19 captain Grace Scrivens is the only uncapped player among the 27 England entrants and has a base prize of £10,000.
Tammy Beaumont, Alice Capsey, Sophia Dunkley, Kate Cross and Alex Hartley are among those listed in the £30,000 bracket.
The five franchises were sold for £465million, with the owners of three existing IPL teams – Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals – securing the rights.
The other two teams were awarded to Adani Group and Capri Global. These teams will be based in Ahmedabad and Lucknow respectively.
