A new patch for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom released on Thursday fixes a number of issues in the Switch game that allow players to duplicate items. Version 1.1.2 for tears of the kingdomreleased on May 25, seems to include mostly minor in-game bug fixes, but players who updated their copy of the Switch game quickly discovered that several dupe issues no longer worked.
Polygon tested tears of the kingdomand confirmed these findings. For now, it is no longer possible to duplicate weapons, items and other materials via already known exploits.
Prior to 1.1.2, players had worked out several methods to duplicate items – including rare and high-value items like diamonds – using quick inventory switching, the game’s paraglider, and jumping. shield. These exploits only work with versions 1.1.1 and earlier. Depending on their system settings, players can choose to update games on Nintendo Switch.
